The Kindergarten section of the School of the Nations is comprised of three levels:
- K1 - Students 3 to 4 years of age, with a maximum of 15 students per class.
- K2 - Students 4 to 5 years of age, with a maximum of 18 students per class.
- K3 - Students 5 to 6 years of age, with a maximum of 21 students per class.
Children who have turned three years of age, by the end of December in the year preceding enrollment, are able to enroll in the Kindergarten K1 level. However, prior to enrollment, an interview is conducted to ensure that the child is sufficiently developed for the level.
The school year for students is from the last week of August to the end of June. Snacks are prepared and provided to the students twice daily. School lunch is also available to students.
English is the medium of language, however, approximately 30% of the time every day is dedicated to learning Mandarin Chinese. Great emphasis is also placed on the development of the character. Students are guided to develop the attitudes, habits, skills, behaviour and therefore conduct that is required to be "a caring and responsible family member".
